“The difference is you get me at the table.” That’s what Ginny Givens says separates her business, Ginny’s Custom Embroidery, from the competition. Her relationship with her clients is the key ingredient to her success—a quality she recognizes in Oconee State Bank.

Ginny was introduced to us as her business was getting ready to expand into Oconee County, an even larger community and customer base for Ginny’s Custom Embroidery. “They were friendly, truly personable, genuine and caring—not just for my business, but to me as a person.” Ginny felt OSB was as dedicated to her success as we are to our own, so she felt confident in moving her banking here.

Based in Monroe, Ga., Ginny’s Custom Embroidery has the style and culture of a small-town shop, with the work ethic of a large company. When she opened shop 11 years ago, Ginny relied on the help of her family to get her going. Now,
people know her company as the one that comes through for them when no one else can make it happen. She marks the lives of those around her through her dedication to providing not just a product, but a service, built around caring
for others.

As a community-driven person, Ginny not only works hard for her customers but also for her community. She supports her local Boys and Girls Club, Fish ministries, ESP and others. As a small business owner, she knows that a community that is stitched together, working with and for one another, thrives.
