Before diving into our mission statement, let’s first take a moment to reflect on its purpose. Our mission is how we plan on accomplishing our vision. You’ve probably heard it by now, but our vision is to be essential to the lives, business and communities we serve. We want to be a seamless part of your day to day life. That’s our goal. So how do we get there? That’s where our mission comes in to play.

Where does this desire to serve come from? It’s in our DNA. It’s why we’re here today. Oconee State Bank was built on the idea that a bank should be by the people, for the people. In 1960 we formed a community bank to provide first class service to the people of Oconee County. 60 years later we’re still holding on to our commitment.
