Our Gwinnett Team is up for the Best of Gwinnett award! In this week’s edition of Beyond the Cupola we highlight some of the amazing ways they’re impacting their community. 

Impacting Gwinnett

With the leadership and guidance of our President and CEO, Neil Stevens, the Oconee State Bank Board of Directors allowed for the expansion of the bank in to Gwinnett County in 2017.  With this strategic expansion of Oconee State Bank in to the Gwinnett community, the level of Remarkable customer experiences and customer service that has been shown already in the Oconee community is now being felt throughout Gwinnett and beyond.  So much, in fact, Oconee State Bank, for the second straight year, has been nominated for the Best of Gwinnett award in the Financial Industries division.  The bank has also been a Finalist two consecutive years for the Regional IMPACT awards in Gwinnett County, and various other awards throughout the community.

These accolades have been very nice given the short duration of time in the community, but does go to show the reputation of service and commitment that Oconee State Bank has developed over the many years prior to expansion in to Gwinnett.  With the intentional direction of creating a Remarkable Culture within the bank, it is clearly spilling out in to our service areas.  The foundation laid by so many key leaders are spelled out in our Mission, Vision and Values, that we strive to work towards every day.

The Gwinnett Financial Center is honored to be part of such a special place and culture that wants to give back to the community and our clients.  As we continue to grow and expand within the community, it continues to be our primary goal to become essential to the lives, businesses, and communities we serve.
