The Good Fight
“My step-father was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He went into remission multiple times, but it was never permanent. After years of treatment, he passed away the summer before I started fifth grade. When my step-father died, and I found LLS, it was something I wanted to be a part of because they understood what people like me and my family had gone through. Five years later, as I have grown more involved with the organization, I can step back and really see the good that they do. 77 cents out of every dollar raised funds research, patient support, and policy and advocacy. I initially supported LLS because I felt like they supported me when my family was battling blood cancer. I continue to support LLS because I can now see they help everyone with blood cancer. This is why I fight The Good Fight!”
